Shreveport restaurant to be featured on Restaurant: Impossible

The past couple of years have been extremely hard for many of us, but one of the hardest hit industries was the food industry. One local restaurant knows this better than anyone, Eddie’s Seafood & Soulfood. Eddie’s is located at 1956 Hollywood Avenue in Shreveport.

Eddie’s Seafood & Soulfood reached out to the production team for the hit-show, Restaurant: Impossible, on the Food Network. Their hope was that Robert Irvine could transform their restaurant and turn around the business… in 48 hours, with only $10,000. He did not disappoint.

Irvine did just that and the Shreveport-Bossier community is invited to be some of the first patrons to dine in the newly renovated space.

The Food Network series is offering our community the rare opportunity to secure dining reservations during their filming. The filming will take place on March 17 and 18.

If you are interested in making a reservation you can email the Restaurant: Impossible production team at reservationsimpossible@gmail.com by March 10th at 12pm PST. Please use the following in your subject line: 2009 / Eddie’s Restaurant Reservations. Be sure to include your contact information (full name, email address, cell phone number), your party size (number of people at your table), and the names of the people in your party.

Production will be covering the cost of the lunch meal, but is not covering the cost of your grand reopening meal. You will be responsible for your own bill.

Reservations are first come, first serve by email. They cannot guarantee everyone that responds will get a table. If you are selected, you will receive a confirmation email closer to the date of the dinner.

The Food Network takes the health of those in attendance, the restaurant staff, and their production crew very seriously. All guests will be required to take a COVID test prior to dining. Masks will be required to be worn by all guests at all times; however; once the service starts and you get your food you will be able to remove them.
