The Bakowski Bridge of Lights is offering opportunities for local students to learn coding.
Students of Caddo Parish Public Schools visited Sci-Port Discovery Center recently to learn how to code the light shows for the newly unveiled Bakowski Bridge of Lights. They also had an opportunity to show off their light shows during the unveiling.
Students like these, along with local artists and teachers, will ensure fresh light shows on the bridge’s nearly 13,000 LEDs.
The Texas Street Bridge, now the Bakowski Bridge of Lights, was recently illuminated on Tuesday, February 22. It was the first time the bridge had been lit up since it went dark in 2014. The celebration was marked with a group wedding ceremony, spectacular firework display, as well as multiple entertainers.
You can also purchase customized light shows for special occasions. Gender reveals are sure to be one of the most popular use cases.
