Tickets will go on sale August 23 for Thorton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Our Town, directed by Mary Joris at Shreveport Little Theatre.
A landmark in American drama, Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Our Town tells the story of a small town, Grover’s Corners, and follows the Gibbs and Webb families through twelve years of life changes. Wilder delivers universal truths about what it means to be human, offering a unique opportunity for audience members to make precisely that realization.
The cast is led by George Sewell in the role of the stage manager.
In addition to director Mary Joris, the production crew includes stage manager Alan Mathison, technical director Derek Shiplov, set designer Tom Serio, lighting designer Julie Edwards, sound designer Barry C. Butler, and prop master Carol Ferrera.
Our Town is scheduled for September 1, 2, 3, 9, 10 at 7:30 p.m. and September 4, 11 at 2 p.m.
