Following the retirement of the esteemed Lois Robinson, the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra embarked on an extensive national quest for visionary leadership. With a rich background in Arts Administration and Symphony Orchestra management, Morgan Walker emerged as the ideal candidate to steer the orchestra towards into its next chapter.
The Future of the Shreveport Symphony
Morgan Walker brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as the General Manager of the Paducah Symphony Orchestra (PSO) in Kentucky since 2016. Under her guidance, the PSO not only navigated significant organizational challenges but also maintained a growing, balanced budget. Walker’s strategic initiatives in branding, marketing, and community engagement propelled the PSO to greater prominence, attracting diverse audiences and increasing earned revenue.

Additionally, her dedication to community service as a Rotarian underscores her commitment to fostering meaningful connections.
