Shreveport Ranks Safest City in the State for Cyclists

With increasing calls for cycling road safety, the team at Your Local Security conducted a study to discover the safest and least safe cities for cyclists in America.

Shreveport was ranked as the safest city in the State of Louisiana.

The team gathered metrics and data on fatal crashes, protected bike lanes, safe passing law, statewide bike plan, spending per capita, and more to produce a weighted score that was used to rank all of the cities in the test.

The safest city in the country was Davis, California.
