Laura Bell Bundy, famous for her Broadway roles as the original Elle Wood’s in Legally Blonde and the original Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray, will headline a special Broadway Belters Encore performance at the Shreveport Little Theatre the evening of February 16th at 7:30 pm. The performance will also feature local favorites Linnea Fayard Allen, Anna Maria Patton, and Barbara Holmes. Other performers include Academy Music Director Adam Philley, as well as Academy instructors Amanda Geneux Ericson and Liesl Cruz. The concert will also feature SLTAcademy alumni and the Masterclass participants.
Bundy’s Masterclass will take place at the Shreveport Little Theatre on February 16th at 3:30 PM. It will focus on audition techniques for young musical theater actors. While the Masterclass student participation is at capacity, observer tickets may be purchased to watch Laura Bell Bundy at work in the Masterclass. Ticket prices to observe the Masterclass are $20 for adults and $15 for students.
Very limited VIP Meet and Greet tickets for the Broadway Belters performance will be available for $75. These tickets guarantee one reserved seat in the front two rows of the theater in addition to meeting Laura Bell Bundy before the show. Reserved seating ticket prices range from $25 to $35. Tickets will go on sale Friday, February 1st at 10:00AM on the Shreveport Little Theatre website. They will also be available by phone at noon by calling the SLT box office at 318-424-4439.
