Shreveport Little Theatre - 103rd Season

Shreveport Little Theatre announces their 103rd Season line-up of productions for 2024 – 2025. The upcoming season includes one summer musical, five MainStage productions, including three musicals and two comedies, one Lagniappe drama, and four Academy musicals (for and by youth).

All productions will be staged at Shreveport Little theatre, located at 812 Margaret Place. MainStage memberships may be purchased at www.ShowTix4U.com or by calling SLT’s box office at (318) 424-4439 for $130.

MainStage memberships include five productions (three musicals and two comedies). Memberships are a $1. discount off individual MainStage ticket prices. Individual ticket prices range from $15 – $30.

Summer Musical: Beautiful, July 18 – 28, 2024

The untold story of Carole King’s journey from schoolgirl to her remarkable rise to superstar.

MainStage # 1: Brighton Beach Memoirs, September 13 – 22, 2024

Dreaming of baseball and girls, Eugene must cope with the mundane existence of his family life in Brooklyn, 1937—Neil Simon hilarity.

MainStage # 2: Steel Magnolias, October 25 – November 2, 2024

Set in Trudy’s beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, where all the ladies who are “anybody” come to have their hair done—including Ouiser, Clairee, M’Lynn, and Shelby.

Junior Academy # 1: The Wizard of Oz, November 15 – 17, 2024

The classic musical of Dorothy over the rainbow.

MainStage # 3: It’s a Wonderful Life, December 13, 22, 2024. 

In the small town of Bedford Falls, George Bailey’s guardian angel descends on Christmas Eve to save him from despair, and to remind him that, after all, it’s a wonderful life.

Lagniappe: Doubt, January 8 – 12, 2025

In this brilliant and powerful drama, Sister Aloysius, a Bronx school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of improper relations with one of the students. –2005 Tony Award® for Best Play and winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

 MainStage # 4: I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change! February 14 – 23, 2025

This hilarious musical-comedy revue celebrates the mating game, love and loss, and modern relationships.

Academy # 2: Thirteen, March 14 – 16, 2025

A 12-year-old navigates his new school and social circles in this family friendly musical.

MainStage # 5: May We All, April 25 – May 4, 2025

Stardom is nice and all, but when the bright lights stop dazzling, home and love are always waiting for you. –A country musical that weaves a tale of dreams, challenges, and the enduring spirit of rural America, set against a backdrop of heartfelt country music.

Senior Academy: Thursday, Mean Girls, May 22 – 25, 2025   

The musical focuses on a teenage girl who transfers to a public high school after being homeschooled her whole life.

Junior Academy # 3: Matilda the Musical,June 6 – 15, 2025

The musical centers around a precocious five-year-old girl with the gift of psychic abilities.
