The building, located at 515 Pierre Avenue, belonged to Powell’s grandfather, Jerome T. Powell, serving as a gas station for the local community. Both Powell’s father and grandfather have close ties to the location and surrounding area. He hopes to continue his family’s lasting legacy.
The renovated building will serve as the future home of Social Bike Rides LLC, setting the stage for the business to evolve beyond its current offerings. With this expansion, Social Bike Rides LLC will transform into a full-scale bicycle shop, offering a wide range of services to benefit the Shreveport-Bossier area, with a special focus on the Allendale/Lakeside Community.
