Grant Nuckolls and Andrew Crawford have partnered with Gill McElroy to bring Southern Maid Donuts to the Provenance Community. This unique dual-branded location will showcase two Shreveport institutions. The new concept location opens to the public on June 1st.
The new location will be located inside of the recently announced Rhino Coffee at the front of the neighborhood on Southern Loop. This will be Rhino Coffee’s third location, with their other cafes located on Southfield Rd and in downtown Shreveport.
It will feature a drive-thru, covered patio, and a large outdoor courtyard. The business will offer the full breadth of both menus, including Southern Maid’s famous donuts, kolaches, fritters, and cinnamon rolls as well as Rhino’s locally-roasted coffee, specialty drinks, baked goods, and lunch sandwiches.
“Andrew and I have been lifetime fans of Southern Maid and have especially admired Gill’s 70th Street location,” Nuckolls shared on social media. “He is a great operator, a super nice guy, and we look forward to working together to bring hot donuts to South Shreveport!”
The new location is currently slated to open in Q4 of 2022.
