If the rumors are true, and it appears they likely are, Pink Party will return to Shreveport-Bossier in 2023. Organizers recently shared a post on social media confirming a special announcement will be coming shortly after New Year’s. Sources tell us Pink Party 2023 will be held at the Shreveport Convention Center, although the exact details haven’t been revealed yet. It appears we won’t have to wait long for confirmation.
Pink Party is a popular fundraising event held in Shreveport-Bossier. The party started as a social event in 1994 but has since grown into a major fundraising event. In 2004, Pink Party and Easter Seals formed a partnership that continues to this day. The partnership means Easter Seals receives the event’s door donations in exchange for renting the venue, covering the event under their liability insurance and paying for printing and mailing of invitations, event posters and any other event collateral that may be needed.
Pink Party is an exciting evening of live music and entertainment, food, socializing, and dancing, all for a good cause.
The event was previously cancelled in 2019. “This year we are doing some major reorganizing and there will not be a Pink Party,” organizers shared on their social platforms at the time. “We want to thank you all for your support.” COVID undoubtably played a role in the event being delayed the following year.
