In an eagerly awaited announcement, Pepito Munoz, the visionary owner of Pepito XO @ artspace, located in the heart of downtown Shreveport, has provided a tantalizing glimpse into his new restaurant, Pepito XO Mexican Bistro. This exciting new restaurant is located at 5815 Youree Drive and will be opening November 17, 2023.
History of Pepito XO
Munoz’s acquisition of the Youree Drive location coincided with the opening of Pepito XO @ artspace. Since that time, he has maintained a relentless commitment to the development of this second location. His unwavering dedication to fine-tuning every detail, crafting an exquisite menu, and cultivating a distinctive atmosphere has been the driving force behind the project’s steady progress.
Reflecting on the path that brought him to this juncture, Munoz expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Leaving Pepito’s & Co Grill and Cantina behind with a lot of pain and forever beloved. Always grateful for all of the people who worked hard and also for those who did not, for the support of so many and also for those who did not, but mainly to God, my family, and my friends for one more opportunity.”
Construction at the new location has been underway for several months and is now open to the public
Munoz shared his excitement regarding the progress in a post on August 15, stating, “From the first day until now and I can say that we are almost finished. Grateful to many people involved in this project. It’s not just part of a dream; it’s part of my destiny.”
