Don’t Take This Serious Comedy (DTTS) is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated local comedy competition at the East Bank Theater on February 17th at 5pm. Get ready for an uproarious evening filled with laughter, as comedians from the local community battle it out for the coveted title of Local Comedy Champion.
With over 30 talented comedians submitting entries, the competition promises to be fierce. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! In a unique twist, the winner will be determined by the audience, with 250 attending guests casting their votes during the announcement party at Flying Heart Brewing, also in the East Bank District. Due to overwhelming support from the local community, there will be not one, but two chances for the top 10 comedians to vie for the title of Local Comedy Champion. Each show will feature the same performers, giving every comedian two opportunities to win over the crowd.
Both shows will grant access to the Flying Heart Announcement Party at 9:00 PM, where the tension will be palpable as the winner of the LoCo Fest 2024 is finally revealed. To commemorate the occasion, Flying Heart Brewing has crafted a specialty beer available exclusively on February 17th.
