The community is invited to join the Bestea Shreveport team on April 15th, 2023 for a celebration of community, Asian culture and a prosperous New Year! You can enjoy Breakfast with Bestea, a music and market experience where you can enjoy music, locally roasted coffee, fresh baked goods from the shop and an acoustic music set starting at 8am. At 11:30am the official ribbon cutting will occur and guests are encouraged to stop by to enjoy the new space filled with decor, art and social spaces created by the Bestea team. You’re also encourage to select one of the dozens of handcrafted beverages to enjoy using only the best ingredients sourced from international Asian markets.
Every dime spent at Bestea on April 15th will be split among several non-profits that the owners are passionate about including Parish Paw, The American Heart Association and Caddo Bossier Domestic Violence Task Force. The organizations will be vending on location during the lunch rush from 11am until 2pm. You can expect more music, artists vending inside the shop and adoptable puppies on site!
Finally, in the evening they’ll cap off the experience with their Wind Down with Bestea beginning at 6pm.
“We understand that there should be more opportunities for our community, especially, our students to have social spaces,” said owner, Lang Earb. “We’re opening our doors to provide a small concert and vendor experience featuring an acoustic set from musicians and a local artist selling their wares. You just can’t beat the schedule of events we have lined up for our grand reopening. We’ve worked hard over the last year and hope Bestea can be a community staple,” said Nicolas Griffith.
