Your Guide to The Big Game in the SBC: Watch Parties, Specials, and More

It’s that time of the year again! The Big Game will take place on Sunday, February 13 at 5:30pm. With former LSU quarter Joe Burrow in the mix, it’s sure to be an exciting event. The Bengals have only been to The Big Game twice, once in 1981 and again in 1988. We’ve also got a cheerleader and several players from the Shreveport area headed to California!

The half time spectacle will include Dr. DreSnoop DoggEminemMary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar .

Here’s your local guide to The Big Game:

Taterskins Bar and Grill

Taterskins Bar and Grill, a local sport bar that specializes in over 35 different types of baked potatoes, will be showing the game and have several specials available. Taterskins is located at 6363 Hearne Ave #105 in Shreveport.

Flying Heart Brewing

Flying Heart Brewing will be showing the game. They’ll also have $1 off house beers and $1 off their Firehouse Cheesebread. They will stay open until the game ends. Flying Heart is located in the East Bank District in Bossier City.

The Korner Lounge

Korner Lounge is one of the oldest LGBTQ+ owned and operated bars in the United States. They will be showing The Big Game and have Happy Hour specials available until 8pm. Korner is located at 800 Louisiana Ave in downtown Shreveport.

Frozen Pirogue

Frozen Pirogue won’t have any specials available but they will be showing The Big Game on their massive 315” TV. Crawfish are also in season and will be available. They are located in the East Bank District in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Stray Cats

Stray Cats will be hosting a Big Game Party! Not only will they be showing the game but they also will have a ton of specials! They will open at 5pm on Sunday for the celebration with free hot dogs and Frito pies, with all the fixings (drink purchase required). They will also have free popcorn, $6 12 in pizzas, $1 personal pan pizzas, half off bottles of wine, $1 off glasses of wine, 2 for 1 well drinks, and $1 off domestic beers. Stray Cats is located in downtown Shreveport at 222 Travis St.

Line Ave Pie and Brew Co.

Line Ave Pie and Brew Co., formerly Pizza Rev, will have enough pizza and wings available for everyone! No specials have been announced but they will be showing The Big Game in their restaurant.

Ernie’s Bar

Ernie’s Bar, Shreveport’s #1 EDM bar, will open at 4pm and be showing The Big Game as well. They will have crawfish available on their patio as well as $5 domestic beer pitchers. Ernie’s is located at 205 Wall St. in Shreveport.

Break-N-Run

Break-N-Run, a local sport bars located at 9447 Mansfield Rd in Shreveport, is in on the action as well. They will have Happy Hour and free pool, along with complimentary hot dogs and chips available. They’re also hosting a Pot Luck during the event. So be sure to bring a dish to share!
