I had the opportunity to visit Lake Charles and experience the amenities for myself.
The H20 Pool + Bar is unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced. With poolside drinks and even a lazy river, you’re sure to find relaxation during your stay.
With a large variety of restaurants there is something to appease even the most pickiest of eaters in your family. From Asian to Mexican, and everything in between, the restaurants here are 5-stars. There is even a Starbucks on the property.
One of my favorite restaurants was the Cadillac Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar. The chicken enchiladas were some of the best I’ve had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, but it was the hint of lime juice that really set this dish apart. And, of course, I had to try one of their famous margaritas. It did not disappoint and definitely lived up to their name.
Such an opulent venue wouldn’t be complete without a room and views to match. My room had one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in and traveling alone meant all of the plush pillows were mine. My balcony overlooked a beach near a river inlet. The views of the sunset were spectacular and definitely one of my favorite aspects of this locale.
