GloryFest ’22 is a benefit concert with almost ten hours of music, food trucks, multiple door prizes, farmer’s market, and more. The concert supports the mission of The Cuddy Family Foundation for Veterans.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 23 at The Lot in downtown Shreveport.
Door prizes include a one-year Premium Solo membership to Red River Range, a shotgun from Red River Range, a one-year membership to the YMCA of Northwest Louisiana, two Gold Level tickets for a 2022 performance by The Shreveport Symphony, and gift cards for Strawn’s Eat Shop Too and Bistro-to-Go. Additional prizes will be added closer to the event day. To be eligible for door prizes, guests must bring at least three-cans of food to donate in support of The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.
They have also partnered with LifeShare Blood Center to host a blood donation drive. These efforts will help support the hospitals and emergency rooms that serve our community.
The incredibly diverse list of performers features the country music band Ole Whiskey Revival and includes classical guitarist Daniel Ainsworth, the ethereal soul stylings of K-Tea Callahan, Caddo Middle Magnet School student Scott Cook, freeform jazz ensemble The Aidan Fitz Group with local legend Robert Trudeau, the incredibly talented and entertaining Soul Grooves Live, heavy-handed southern rockers Anna Lee’s Revolver, and the rock band Victory Position.
100% of the net revenue from the event will be directed to establishing a business in Shreveport that employs veterans. The foundation looks forward to opening a food truck that will employee veterans, as well as give them partial ownership in the business.
