The Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier (JLSB) is thrilled to announce the return of Designer Bag Bingo on March 28, 2024 at Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino in downtown Shreveport. Designer Bag Bingo pairs the fun of bingo with designer handbags as each game’s prize. Doors open at 5:00 pm, at which time guests can browse the table of prizes and raffle items, grab a drink at the bar, and enjoy dinner with friends. The real fun begins at 7:00 p.m. with ten rounds of bingo for a chance to win designer bags along with raffle prizes throughout the evening.
What to expect at Designer Bag Bingo?
All ticket holders will receive dinner; a bingo game packet (3 plays per sheet; 10 sheets for 10 rounds of bingo); and one bingo dauber (new this year!). Upon arrival, raffle tickets, additional bingo cards, and daubers will be for sale. The event will feature nine designer handbags (over $300 value per bag) and the grand prize is a Louis Vuitton handbag.
Raffle Items
In addition to the handbags, the event will feature a raffle of various items, including spa treatments, jewelry, purses, local art, restaurant gift cards, and more. “Treat Yourself” to these raffle tickets for only $10.00 each! Designer Bag Bingo will also feature a $25.00 “Bling” raffle ticket for a chance to win a beautiful jewelry piece donated by Sid Potts.
Event Emcee
This year JLSB welcomes KTAL News Anchor and JLSB Sustainer, Jacque Jovic, as the emcee for the night. Whether calling numbers or keeping the handbag’s descriptions lively, her enthusiasm is sure to match that of the winners!

The Mission
Designer Bag Bingo was created in 2018 as a fundraiser for Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier. For 90 years, the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier has stayed true to the mission to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
In support of the mission, JLSB develops and supports community projects, bestows grants to organizations in need, and provides scholarships to deserving high school graduates. Funds raised at Designer Bag Bingo supports projects like MAGIC (Mentoring Ambitious Girls to Inspire Change), Revel’s Artist for a Day, and the Red Apron Pantry.
