North Louisiana could soon be getting a Buc-ee’s! The Ruston City Council is scheduled to hold a meeting on Monday, January 9th to consider a proposal by CSMS Management, L.L.C., the corporation that owns Buc-ee’s.
The agenda item for the proposal reads, “Authorize City to Enter into Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with CSMS Management, L.L.C. and authorize All Actions Contemplated in the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement.”
It’s currently unknown what the Ruston City Council’s feelings on the proposal are or how they may vote. It’s also uncertain if the business being proposed is, in fact, a Buc-ee’s. Because of the parent company, wide spread speculation has most believing this is the case.
We’ll update this article after the council has voted and when more details are available.
The popular franchise opened in 1982 and has quickly become a tourist attraction in many cities. They currently have 43 locations with several others already under construction.
