Stage Center’s School of Performing Arts (SoPA) proudly announces their production of the smash-hit Broadway musical, Disney’s Frozen (Kids Edition), a newly edited version especially for kids. The new production will open May 13, 2022 for a three-performance run at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse on the Centenary College Campus. You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the celebrated animated film. Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. This production of FROZEN Kids is sure to prove that “some people are worth melting for,” with direction by SoPA Director of Education Liesl Cruz, and choreography by Kaitlyn Bundrick-Brown.
Featured in the 31-member cast of K-7th graders will be AnnaMaria Aranda, Genevieve Aranda, Luke Aranda, Emma Burney, Ella Cooper, Genevieve Cruz, Peter Cruz, Annabelle Dalmau, Addison Dowling, Caitly Eubanks, Oliver Green, Mia Jenkins, Vivienne Keller, Eva Lamarand, Cora Leighton, Elizabeth Leighton, Marianna Leighton, Miles Mainiero, Ava Maranto, Dhanity McAdams, Ainsley McInnis, Henry Menard, Morgan Meyer, Millie Oakes, Avery Quinn, Sophia Reeme, Daisy Russell, Lacee Smith, Rex Sobolak, Cooper Wallace, and Amber Wilcox.
Performances will take place on May 13 at 6pm and May 14 at 2pm and 6pm at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse located on the campus of Centenary College. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online by clicking here.
