The Shreveport Symphony’s 75th Anniversary season in 2023-24 features the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with Simone Porter, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with pianist Jeffrey Biegel, Argentinian composer/bandoneon soloist Richard Scofano, Brahms’ Symphony No. 1, double concertos performed by outstanding soloists from the SSO, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with Alessio Bax, and Beethoven’s “Eroica” Symphony.
Pops concerts include a tribute to the King with Ultimate Elvis Tribute Champion Victor Trevino, Jr., Holiday Pops with Broadway star Laura Osnes and John Williams’ Movie Masterpieces. The Music of Def Leppard is a special event with Windborne Music in January 2024.
