Louisiana Film Prize is launching a new initiative this year called Film Prize University. Film Prize University is an 8-class program that will teach how to make a short film, from script to screen.
Film Prize veterans, professors, and working professionals have all teamed up for the event. Prize Fest University is free and open to the public but does require registration via Zoom before entering each class.
There are 8 classes in total featuring filmmakers and technicians from across the country to help you elevate your filmmaking game!
The classes included in the course are:
Story: Conceiving Your Film | Jan 24. at 7pm
Writing: Turning Your Ideas Into Words | Feb 9 at 7pm
Prepoduction: Preparing to Shoot | Mar 21 at 7pm
Production: On Your Film Set | Apr 11 at 7pm
Post-Production: What to Do With Your Footage | May 23 at 7pm
Music and Sound Design: Finish Building Your World | Jun 13 at 7pm
Promotion: How People Will Watch Your Film | Jul 11 at 7pm
Film Prize University AMA | Aug 15 at 7pm
