After the 5,248 square foot business didn’t sell, the owners of Tacomania announced their official closure last week. It had been on the market since October 2020 for $750,000. Their last day open will be Saturday, April 23rd.
However, the location won’t be empty for long. KEEL News spoke with Alan Clark, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Planning Commission, who confirmed there are plans to bring a Starbucks to the location.
This will be Starbucks’ fourth standalone location in Shreveport. The new Starbucks will be located at 641 E Kings Hwy. There is currently no available timeline for when construction will begin or the new business will open.
