Laine Hardy revealed as Krewe of Centaur Grand Marshal

The 2022 Krewe of Centuar Grand Marshall is none other than American Idol Season 17 winner and Louisiana native, Laine Hardy. The announcement was made Saturday night at the Krewe of Centaur’s Grand Bal XXX.

Hardy was in Shreveport at the Ball for the big announcement!

The musician was born in Baton Rouge and grew up in Livingston, LA. After beating out countless talented competitors on Season 17 of American Idol, he was finally voted the winner of the hit show.

Hardy has performed at The Grand Ole Opry and toured the country, bringing the sounds of the South around the country. His first album Here’s to Anyone debuted this past September. He also served as the headliner of the Red River Revel Arts Festival in Shreveport this past October. He is currently serving as an ambassador for the State of Louisiana, promoting tourism throughout the state.
