Shreveport Little Theatre Academy’s box office will open on March 1st for their production of Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS.
Based on the classic animated film, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil, Disney’s most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage. With a high-spirited score and lovable characters, this stage adaptation is certain to charm and delight all audiences.
In a loving home in the city of London, canine parents Pongo and Perdita happily raise their Dalmatian puppies until the monstrous Cruella De Vil plots to steal them for her new fur coat! Join all the dogs of London as they daringly rescue the puppies from Cruella’s bumbling henchmen.
The musical is to be directed by Senior Academy member Georgette Berne and choreographed by Laura Beeman Nugent with Music Direction by Nathan Gay. The cast will be led by Caroline Thornton as Cruella De Vil with Lily Keyes as Perdita and Levi Young as Pongo. Supporting cast includes Evan Gay, Hadley Hertz, Emma Kate Fox, Mary Claire Dunham, Parker Patterson, Arya Evans, Hadley Jackson. Elizabeth Fox, Lorelei Ivy, Kenley Gates, and Kendall Oxford. Additional Cast members include Megan Martino, Landry Smith, Emily Lewing, Kristoffer Berg, Eden Moore, Mary Beth Owen, John Bushnell, Max Harris, Abigail Snyder, Teagan Wright, Camille Jones, Emory Wright, Emily Gardner, Hudson Gates, Anna Grace Fontenot, Felcitiy Broussard, Beau Miller, Anayansi Martin, Scarlett Gamble, & Mae Frances Lusk.
Additional crew members include Brittany Gay, production manager, Anna McCann and Destry Martignettias, assistant to the music director, M. Derek Shiplov, set construction, Peggy San Pedro costume coordinator,and Julie Edwards, lighting designer.
Performances are scheduled for March 18 at 6:00 p.m., March 19 at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m., and March 20 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets will be available to the public on March 1st.
