South Shreveport has a new barbecue restaurant and bar! The restaurant serves up the same iconic food you’ve come to love from their Bossier location, but with a completely revamped atmosphere. As it’s name attest, this new location actually has a full service bar inside, along with outdoor seating. They are located at 8410 Line Avenue.
The outdoor seating area, with TVs for the big games, will also play host to live entertainment in the near future, showcasing some of Shreveport’s most talented musicians.
While visiting, I had a pulled pork samitch with a jalapeño cheddar bun. It was absolutely amazing! If I had one piece of advice, it would be to substitute for the jalapeño cheddar bun.
For an appetizer, I tried the fried onion strings. The satisfying crunch, flavor of the onions, paired with their spicy ranch house dressing was incredible! I also learned from the owner that these come on both the Wild West Burger and Mandarin Orange Salad. I will be back soon to try both of those options.
