This unique event invites fans of the iconic film to celebrate friendship and community while enjoying local establishments and supporting a great cause, the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier.
Participants will embark on a fun journey through various downtown businesses, each featuring drinks and activities inspired by the beloved characters and unforgettable moments from Steel Magnolias. The evening will culminate in a special screening of the film, allowing attendees to relive the heartwarming story that has captivated audiences for decades.
Proceeds from the Blush and Bashful Bash will benefit the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier, an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. By participating in this event, attendees will directly support local initiatives and programs aimed at enriching the lives of those in the Shreveport-Bossier community.
