The Norwela Council- Scouting America will host the 27th Annual Shooting Clays Classic on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Shreveport Gun Club. Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. and start time is 8:00 a.m. This annual fundraiser promises a day of fun, camaraderie, and support for our local Scouting programs.
Norwela Council invites shooters of all skill levels to join in this friendly competition while raising essential funds to support Scouting activities, leadership training, and community service projects. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with the council, other enthusiasts, and contribute to the growth and success of the Norwela Council – Scouting America. In addition to the clay shoot, there will be food, drinks, door prizes, and other fun activities.
“The Sporting Clays Classic is a great way for anyone who enjoys the outdoors or shooting, whatever their skill level, to have a great time with other sportsmen while supporting young people in our community.”, said Jeff Brasher, the Scout Executive/CEO of the Norwela Council. “We invite everyone to come be a part of this and see the impact Scouting makes on the lives of young people in northwest Louisiana.”
