As of April 1, 2025, Delta Utilities has officially acquired CenterPoint Energy’s natural gas operations in Louisiana. The company assures customers that their service will continue seamlessly, and you don’t have to do a thing.

What You Need to Know
While Delta Utilities will now be the natural gas provider for CenterPoint customers everything will stay the same. No action is required and service will continue automatically. Rates will also remain the same, with no changes to what you currently pay. Your account number will also stay the same.

CenterPoint Energy will continue to send billing and other communications on behalf of Delta Utilities.

- You can still access the online payment portal through CenterPoint Energy
