Jett Business Systems Inc. invites local law enforcement and emergency personnel to the 6th Annual FEED THE COPS & FEED THE FIRE event on Thursday, June 26, and Friday, June 27.
Launched by Tim Jett in 2020, FEED THE COPS began as a way to thank local law enforcement by serving the best BBQ the city has to offer. In 2023, the initiative expanded to include FEED THE FIRE, honoring firefighters as well. Each year, these events serve over 1,000 meals to first responders from the Shreveport and Bossier Police and Fire Departments, along with the Caddo and Bossier Sheriff’s Offices.
“We’re proud to show our appreciation with a meal for the law enforcement officers and first responders who give so much every day,” said Tim Jett. “We know the job they do isn’t easy—and FEED THE COPS and FEED THE FIRE is our small way of saying thank you for their service and sacrifice.”
Jett Business Systems has teamed up with Silver Star Smokehouse, Podnuh’s BBQ, Bodacious Bar & Q, Down Home Meats, Brookshire’s Grocery Company, Sam’s Club, and Eagle Distributing of Shreveport to serve an incredible spread. Employees and friends of Jett Business Systems will be on-site at fire stations and police departments across Caddo and Bossier Parishes on June 26 and 27 to personally serve meals. Final times and locations will be shared closer to the event on the Jett Business Systems Facebook page and through local firehouse and police station channels.
FEED THE COPS and FEED THE FIRE are open exclusively to members of the Shreveport & Bossier Police Departments, Caddo & Bossier Sheriff Departments, and the Shreveport Fire Station.
