United Way of Northwest Louisiana (UWNWLA) announced the election of five new members to its 2025 Board of Directors.
The members below begin their three-year term with UWNWLA effective immediately:
- Carla Anderson, Elite Health Solutions
- Waynesha Hall, Enterprise Mobility
- Millen Manuel, Always Best Care
- Paul Pratt, AEP SWEPCO
- Michelle Sorrells, Charter Schools USA

Thomas. “Their diverse expertise, passion, and commitment to our mission will enrich our strategic direction and strengthen our impact within the communities we serve. With their invaluable contributions, we look forward to reaching new heights and achieving even greater outcomes for those we support.”
UWNWLA’s Board of Directors are fully committed and dedicated to carrying out UWNWLA’s mission through strategic planning, engaging in fundraising initiatives, and monitoring and approving the organization’s budget. In addition, members actively promote UWNWLA as an organization ambassador, advocate, and community representative.
John Tuggle, the late executive director of Shreve Memorial Library, served as board chair in 2024 with unwavering dedication, passion, and vision. UWNWLA is forever grateful for his countless contributions and the legacy he leaves behind. In this time of transition, UWNWLA is pleased to announce the succession of incoming board chair Toni Tyner, Progressive Bank Vice President and Business & Community Development Officer. Toni has been an active and devoted board member over the years. UWNWLA is confident that her leadership will guide the organization with strength and perspective as it continues to advance its mission.

UWNWLA thanks the departing board members for their invaluable time, monetary support, and dedication to the organization during their terms. Exiting board members include Lydon Johnson of Calumet Lubricants & Waxes and Patricia Vines of Christus Health.
