Tickets on sale for SLT’s “Doubt: A Parable”

Tickets are now on sale for Shreveport Little Theatre’s 103rd Season Lagniappe production of Doubt: A Parable by John Patrick Shanley. Set against the backdrop of a 1960s America in the midst of political and social change, a progressive young priest’s conduct comes under question by Sister Aloysius Beauvier, the school principal whose beliefs are deeply rooted in tradition. The cast is led by James Palmer as Father Brendan Flynn, Paula S. Sample and Kelly R. Vaden as Sister Aloysius Beauvier, Madisen Martin and Madelyn Menefee as Sister James, and Tianna Andrews and Valencia Sneed as Mrs. Muller.

There will be two casts for select performances. The Primary Cast (Wednesday, January 8 at 7:30 p.m., Friday, January 10 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, January 11 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, January 12 at 2:00 PM) is James Palmer, Paula S. Sample, Madisen Martin, and Tianna Andrews. The Alternate Cast (Thursday, January 9 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, January 11 at 2:00 PM) is James Palmer, Kelly R. Vaden, Madelyn Menefee, and Valencia Sneed.

Shreveport Little Theatre Past Board President and Guest Director Robert Alford II directs the show, with E. G. Rambo serving as Assistant Director/Stage Manager. Saige Williams serves as Assistant Stage Manager and the production staff includes Laura Beeman Nugent as Choreographer, David White as Set Designer and Set Construction, Julie Edwards as Light Designer, Barry Butler as Sound Designer, Jason Coffel as Prop Coordinator, Oliver Lock as Light Board Operator, Kristoffer Berg as Production Associate/Sound Board Operator, and Susan Beal as Costumer.

Doubt: A Parable opens January 8 at 7:30 PM with additional performances on the 9, 10, and 11 at 7:30 PM and January 12 at 2:00 PM. Doubt: A Parable will be performed without an intermission
