Madeline Barclay, MPH, EdD, was named Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for LSU Health Shreveport’s School of Allied Health Professions. As Assistant Dean, Dr. Barclay will have roles in administration, policies, student groups, admissions, recruiting, records, teaching and research as it pertains to students.
Dr. Barclay previously served as the Director of Admissions, managing the onboarding and matriculation of all allied health students. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Centenary College in 2013, a Master of Public Health from LSU Shreveport and LSU Health Shreveport’s joint program in 2015 and completed her Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies at LSU Shreveport in 2023.
Dr. Barclay is recognized as a vision-driven, growth-oriented administrator with experience at the School of Allied Health Professions on critical levels as a student, faculty member, admissions director, student recruiter and advocate and institutional representative familiar with policies, procedures and accreditation standards.
