Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s inaugural Humor & Harmony Weekend Festival has just wrapped up in Shreveport, LA, and it was nothing short of an overwhelming success. The four-day extravaganza brought together some of the biggest names in comedy, music, sports, and entertainment, with the entire City of Shreveport uniting to support the G-Unity Foundation’s mission to promote Conscious Capitalism.
“This morning when I woke up I realized, I belong in Shreveport,” 50 Cent shared on his Instagram.
The festival’s economic impact brought millions of dollars to the city, further solidifying Shreveport’s position on the national stage. The immense success of the weekend has already lead 50 Cent to begin thinking about next year’s event.

“I could not be more proud of the City of Shreveport and all the people who traveled to participate in our first Humor & Harmony Weekend to benefit The G-Unity Foundation. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux, the Shreveport City Counsel, Caddo Parish, SPAR, Police and Fire Departments, my entire team, the army of local workers, volunteers, vendors and businesses, our generous donors and sponsors and of course the friendly and welcoming people of Shreveport. While this weekend may have served as proof of concept for some, for me, it just confirmed everything I already knew. The City of Shreveport has officially earned its spot on the national scene as a place that is open for business, investment and tourism. All Roads Lead to Shreveport. Thank you to all of the people who came out to support us for a great cause.” Said Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
