Flying Heart Brewing and Pub is thrilled to announce a weekend-long celebration with two major events to honor their 10th anniversary!
The festivities kick off on Saturday, May 3, 2025, with their 5th annual event, Kegs and Corks: Craft Beer, Wine, and Music Festival. Followed by Sunday Funday, a free family-friendly event on the next day, Sunday, May 4, 2025, featuring a corn hole tournament, live entertainment, and activities for kids.
Kegs and Corks Festival
Kegs and Corks, Bossier City’s FIRST and Only Craft Beer, Wine and Music Festival, including a home brew competition, returns to East Bank Plaza on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Guests have the opportunity to sample a diverse array of flavors from local and regional craft beers, wines, and other spirits. All festival-goers get to vote on their favorite brew in the competition portion, where one lucky home brewer will win prizes and bragging rights for the festival favorite.
In addition to the sips, guests can enjoy food from local eateries and dance to live music from some of the area’s favorite bands, Message from Mercury and The Barksdale Bubble. All of this makes for a great day of celebration on a Saturday afternoon in Bossier City’s East Bank Plaza. The party doesn’t stop there, starting at 6:30 pm guests can grab a beer and pizza across the street in the Flying Heart Brewing and Pub’s Beer Garden for an afterparty with live music and a fun atmosphere. This year’s festival is sponsored by Got Your Six (GY6), and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Tiffany Strong Scholarship Foundation.

The celebration continues on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with their inaugural Sunday Funday event! Bring the whole family out for a day filled with entertainment and activities designed for all ages.
The event will feature a corn hole tournament sanctioned by the Shreveport-Bossier Corn hole Association, where friendly competition meets community spirit. Gather your friends and family to join in the fun, with $2000 in prize payouts for the top teams! In addition to the corn hole tournament, various kids’ activities will keep the little ones entertained throughout the day. Live music will again fill the air, creating an inviting atmosphere for families to relax and celebrate together.
