The Shreveport City Council celebrates two extraordinary individuals who represented our community on the national stage at the 2025 Rose Parade: Chef Damian ‘Chapeaux’ Chapman, owner of Orlandeaux’s Cross Lake Café, and Sharon Johnson, an accomplished florist and resident of District G.
Chef Chapman, a prominent business owner in District A, has earned widespread admiration for his dedication to preserving Shreveport’s rich culture, culinary traditions, and vibrant heritage. As the heart behind Orlandeaux’s Cross Lake Café, Chef Chapman’s soul-stirring dishes and community commitment embody the spirit of Shreveport. His participation in the Rose Parade is a testament to his remarkable talent and passion, and the city proudly stands behind him as he shares our story with the world.
